How we work


At HGI Remodeling we look on every project as a process of collaboration. That process involves building not only your home but also a long-term relationship with you. It is based on the same principles we apply to all our projects. It’s focused and streamlined, but also detailed, meticulous and very effective.



1) Design Phase

The first step is to meet with you so we can get to know you and understand your vision for your project. At this stage we can brain storm design ideas based on your needs and our experience to come up with the best solution to meet your criteria.

Once we know the scope of work, we will provide you with a preliminary proposal.

Upon your acceptance of our proposal, we will sign a construction contract which secures your project in our schedule and allows us to place orders for materials needed.

2) Construction Phase

Once the project has begun we will do our best to keep your project running smoothly and to communicate clearly with you through all construction phases.

Upon completion, we will do a final walk through and give you a chance to review all the work and let us know if you require any changes or adjustments. Once everything is completed, we will do a final inspection and close the project.

Any final payments will be due at that time.
