Our Bathroom Remodeling Process
After carefully planning, the next step is removing the old bathroom fixtures. The bathroom vanity, toilet, and bathtub or shower are all typically removed at this stage – to make way for everything new. If wall space will be moved or the layout of the bathroom will be changed, this is also the time when walls will be taken down, medicine cabinets moved aside, and the complete remodel begins.
Drywall installation is a very important step in any remodeling project, and the bathroom is no exception. The drywall installation crew will install the drywall sheets on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom, and then tape and mud the joints between the sheets. Once the drywall is finished, the painter can apply a coat of paint or primer to it. The plumber will also install the new plumbing fixtures and hook them up to the existing plumbing in the bathroom. They will also run new piping for the bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet.
After the walls have been prepared, the next step is to lay the new flooring. This can be done in a variety of ways, but typically we will use either vinyl or ceramic tiles, based on the initial design you selected. Vinyl is a popular choice because it is relatively inexpensive and easy to install. Ceramic tiles are more durable, but also more expensive. In either case, the flooring should be installed so that it is level and watertight.
After the ground work is done, the home repair team of HGI Remodeling will install cabinets and a vanity in your bathroom. While utilizing the available space in the most efficient way, our team will transform the sink area, leaving you with a functional new bathroom that has the extra space and stunning design you’ve dreamed of.

My husband and I reached out to HGI Remodeling in April 2021. We asked them to help us with our kitchen remodeling and with Nanoo’s help, we were able to design it how we wanted. Nanoo was valuable when we had questions and was quick to offer advice from his experiences. HGI Remodeling’s Design service was not available at that time, so I made the design decisions. I chose the finishes and did most of the shopping myself. Nanoo did have supplier connections that he used often and we purchased a couple of big-ticket items from those sellers. Once the kitchen got started on, we added to the work scope and asked HGI Remodeling to help replace the flooring, baseboards, paint the wall of our main spaces with a fresh new color, and redo the fireplace. They took it all in stride! HGI Remodeling’s employees and subcontractors were also very professional when they came in to do the demo, install structural beam, rejig the plumbing, & assemble/build cabinetry. The whole job finished in August 2021, and we still enjoy our space! Nanoo is communicative, personable, and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. We will consider HGI Remodeling again for future remodeling needs!

We used Nanoo to help with a backyard redo which consisted of taking out an old pool and installing a new pool(pool company did new pool.) Laying extensive patio and new driveway. Tiling back patio and installing a new outdoor kitchen under a new roof extension. My only negative comment is that this project took about 6 months longer than expected. In the end it turned out very nice and Nanoo and his people were very nice to work with. Nanoo is very creative and can offer good suggestions for your project.

We had our kitchen remodeled by Nanoo with HGI several years ago. He did a wonderful job. He was reasonably priced and dependable. Later we had our downstairs bedroom and bathroom suite updated. He tore out the old cabinets and replaced them with modern free standing units. We had the carpet replaced with laminate and the walls and ceilings painted. It is like being in a high end vacation suite. There was no doubt in our mind that when it came time to update the entire upstairs that we would use Nanoo’s services again. We planned a cruise so we gave him access to our home while we were gone. We came home to a beautiful new bathroom in the upstairs master. The old worn carpeting was replaced with laminate and a fresh coat of paint for cabinets, walls and ceilings completely changed our dowdy upstairs into a haven where we can proudly host our family and friends when they visit. We had no problem giving Nanoo access to our home while we were gone as he is as honest as he is competent and dependable.

I can’t say enough good about Nanco and HGI! I did not have remodeling done but a number of smaller projects. This is always tricky for me as I have to travel quite a bit with work. Nanco came out, assessed the projects, and gave me a fair and professionally presented bid. The work was done in a timely manner and I was not there so updated me regularly with both texts and photos. My trust was well placed. He also has a keen eye for color and a simple suggestion on paint color was great! Nanoo and team of HGI REMODELING were hired to replace 22 feet of wood fence, separating the driveway and backyard pool. The fence is somewhat unusual because I wanted a standard swinging door and an 8ft wide gate, for entry of larger things to the yard. I described what I wanted and HGI made it reality. Remodeled whole house!! HGI was on time and fast, but took care of the tiniest details. Workman ship on tile and flooring was clean and professional. Project: Repaint kitchen/guest bath cabinets and install: granite counter tops, tile back splash, new sink and facet, vent hood, double oven and cabinet hardware.
